Pedro Acuna, 53 of El Campo, passed away on April 24, 2011. He was born on August 17, 1957 in El Campo to the late Manuel and Margaret Garza Acuna. He was retired and had been employed as an operator in road construction.
He is survived by his wife Elvia Acuna, daughters Elizabeth Perez and Raquel Acuna, sons Anthony, Ruben and Pete Acuna all of El Campo, 16 grandchildren, sisters Susan Alaniz of Houston, Margaret Rodriguez of Sugar Land, Patsy Cano of Richmond, brothers Juan Manuel Acuna of Rosenberg, Rolando Garza of Sugar Land, step brothers Abaristo Lopez and Robert Lopez of El Campo.
Visitation will begin of Thursday at 12 pm at Triska Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 6 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 29, 2011, at St. Robert's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the La Colonial Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Anthony Acuna, Ruben Acuna, Pete Acuna, Juan Manuel Acuna, Robert Lopez, Ramiro Alaniz, Abaristo Garza and Rolando Garza.
