HEREFORD - Willard Harvey Jones, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Westway Baptist Church, west of Hereford, with the Rev. Ken Varner officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Celina, the son of George and Etta Jones. He was a veteran, serving in the Army during World War II. Mr. Jones married Billie Robinson on March 31, 1946, in Anton. He was a lifelong farmer in Deaf Smith County and a member of Westway Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bobby Jones and wife, Toni, Ronnie Jones and wife, Wanice, and Dan Jones and wife, Heather, all of Hereford; a daughter, Sheri Mansell and husband, Wayne, of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Westway Baptist Church, Route 4, Hereford, TX 79045.

HEREFORD - Billie Jones, 79, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, in Amarillo.

Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Westway Baptist Church in Hereford with the Rev. Ken Varner officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born March 24, 1929, in Littlefield to Harold and Grace Robinson. She married Harvey Jones on March 31, 1946, in Anton.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and always said it was her "job" to help her husband. She was a member of the Westway Baptist Church since 1943, taught vacation Bible school and loved the Lord and loved gospel music.

In 1967, Mrs. Jones taught the 6- to 8-year-olds at Westway Baptist Church and served as secretary at Hart Camp Baptist Church. She also loved to crochet and to fish.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister; and a brother.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Jones and wife Toni, Ronnie Jones and wife Wanice and Danny Jones, all of Hereford; a daughter, Sheri Mansell and husband Wayne of Lubbock; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to a charity of choice.
