Obituary:
HIGGINS - Dale Allen "Brodie" Millsap, 8, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, in Haskell.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Higgins High School auditorium with the Rev. Nancy Moore officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett by Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian.

Brodie was born May 7, 2000, in Shattuck, Okla., to Len Millsap and Becky Mitchell Sarabia. He had just completed first grade.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Elizabeth Harris.

Survivors include his father, Len Millsap and wife Alicia of Higgins; his mother, Becky Sarabia and husband Joaquin of Protection, Kan.; two brothers, Travis Mitchell of Protection and Gary Millsap of Higgins; three sisters, Mya Sarabia and Estfania Sarabia, both of Protection, and Kathryn Millsap of Higgins; his grandparents, Keith and Mikki Millsap of Higgins; his stepgrandparents, Gary and Jennifer Smith of Higgins; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles and many friends.

The family suggests memorials be to scholarship fund, First National Bank of Canadian, Higgins Branch, P.O. Box 190, Higgins, TX 79046.
