*Obituary Elizabeth Ann Jordan Line
Elizabeth Ann Jordan Line, devoted and loving wife and mother, went to be with the Lord February 20, 2016, in Georgetown, Texas.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 411 E 6th Street. Rev. Kyle Streun, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Hereford will officiate. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born on March 6, 1924, to Andrew Lee Jordan and Ethel Ladell Cash Jordan in Amarillo. As a child, Ann was often called “Sunshine” because of her brilliant smile. Ann attended Amarillo schools, and graduated from Amarillo High School in May, 1942. She won 1st Chair All State Drummer at the age of 14, and because she was the youngest girl to ever receive this honor, her picture was placed on the cover of the Junior Musician’s Magazine. She taught her daughter, Terie Beth, to play the drums when she was 10.

She attended Hardin-Simmons University, where she was a percussion, and piano major, and graduated with her Bachelors degree in Music in 1948. She was also a drum major in the Cowboy Band.

She taught choir and band at Pampa Junior High. She married Judson Edward Line, in Pampa, on October 3, 1950. They moved to Vega where Daddy served as County Attorney for a few years.

Then Ann and Ed moved to Hereford in 1953, and joined the First Baptist Church, where they served faithfully for over 50 years. For a number of years, beginning in 1959, Ann was the Director of the Junior Choir, at FBC, where her choir won numerous first place awards in Amarillo at the church choral festivals. She also taught three-year-olds in Sunday school for over 30 years. Ann and Ed were also faithful members of the choir. She served as the director of the Campfire Girl's Choir. She was a member of the L' Allegra Study Club. Elizabeth served as Secretary for the Major League Colts Baseball team and Den mother for Cub Scouts.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Judson Edward Line.

She is survived by her children, Terie Beth Line Dillard and husband Phil of Plano, and granddaughter Alexann Dillard of Austin; and by son Lee Line of Georgetown, daughter-in-law Kariss Marcus Line, and grandson Kyle Marcus of Fort Worth. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends, whose lives were impacted by her love for the Lord, music, and her contagious smile

The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, 500 N. Main, Hereford, Texas, 79045.

Express your condolences to the family and sign the online guest book for Ann at www.herefordheritagefh.com.
