Obituary:
Sandra Frazier Mounsey, 59, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 3, 2004.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett with Ron Hilbig officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mrs. Mounsey was born June 12, 1945, in Shattuck, Okla., to Paschel and Emily Frazier. She grew up in Follett and graduated from Follett High School in 1963. She took pre-nursing at Amarillo College and then went to licensed practical nursing school in Clinton, Okla., graduating in 1965. She worked as a nurse in Amarillo for several years before becoming a beautician. She worked as a beautician for many years before her health forced her to retire.

Sandra was united in marriage to Tommy Lynn Mounsey on December 27, 1965. They had two children, Michelle and Tracey. They divorced on April 13, 1973.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Forbus of Amarillo; a son, Tracey Mounsey of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Jessica Forbus and Brooke Forbus, both of Amarillo and Blake Mounsey and Destinie Mounsey, both of Grand Prairie; a sister, Darla Rutz and husband, Jerald, of Perryton; a niece, Robin Christensen and husband, Jeff, of Arlington; a nephew, Michael Rutz, wife, Carol, and daughter, Alyssa Faith Rutz, of Perryton; two aunts, Frances Sperry of Woodward and Janice Frazier of Follett; an uncle Neal Larkey of Amarillo; and many loving cousins and friends.

The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Healthcare Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101 or to a favorite charity.
