HEREFORD - Jesus M. Luna, 81, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Camp Wood.
Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Raul Valdez officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mr. Luna was born Nov. 15, 1929, in San Vicente, Mexico, to Eusebio and Maria Hernandez Luna. He married Ophelia Castillo Luna in 1965 in Hereford.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Antonia Garcia and Julia Garza, both of Hereford; two sons, Ruben Garcia and Roy Garcia, both of Hereford; a sister, Lidia Luna Hernandez of Agoura, Calif.; a brother, Juan Luna of Eagle Pass; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Cedar Hills Geriatric Center, 7105 Nueces St., Camp Wood, TX 78833; or a charity of choice.
