HEREFORD - Norman Lytal, 85, died Monday, July 7, 1997.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Central Church of Christ with the Rev. Joe Williams of Jacksboro and the Rev. Tom Bailey officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel.

Mr. Lytal was born in Wolfe City. He married his wife, Wanda, in 1933. They had farmed in Deaf Smith County for 29 years before retiring in 1980.

Mr. Lytal was a member of Central Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Peggie Fox of Hereford; two sons, Billy Lytal and Joel Lytal, both of Hereford; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Hereford Senior Citizens.

HEREFORD - Wanda Lytal, 94, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008.

Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Central Church of Christ in Hereford with Joe Williams officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford.

Mrs. Lytal was born April 27, 1913, in Wolf City to John and Laura Ingram. She graduated from Wolf City High School in 1931, and married Norman Lytal on March 2, 1933, in Durant, Okla. Mrs. Lytal was a homemaker and a babysitter for many Hereford families children for several years. She was a member of the Hereford Central Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; four sisters; and two granddaughters.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Lytal and wife Sammie and Joel Lytal and wife Martha, all of Hereford; a daughter, Peggy Fox of Hereford; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be to the High Plains Children's Home, 1501 W. 58th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79110.
