Funeral Rites Of Frank Marrs Are Conducted

Funeral services for Frank Marrs, 77, resident of Hereford since 1917, were conducted Friday afternoon in Rose Chapel of Gililland Funeral Home by the Rev. Russell Wingert, Presbyterian pastor.

Mr. Marrs died Thursday morning in a local hospital. He had been retired in recent years, but was formerly in the garage business here for a number of years. He resided at 201 West Ninth.

Born Dec. 27, 1889 in Missouri, he married Grace Owen at Trenton, Mo., and they came to this county in 1917.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Orr of El Paso; a son, Frank, of Amarillo; a brother, Lynn Marrs, who lives in Idaho; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Interment in West Park Cemetery was directed by Gililland Funeral Home.
