Civil War Confederate
August 25, 1835 - June 1, 1915
Born in Wilkes County, Georgia
Died in Bruceville, Texas
Son of Thomas O. and Martha A. (Harman) Christian.
He entered the Confederate service and served with the forces that operated in the east. In May, 1864, he was wounded in the arm and was promoted to a command for gallant action in the field. At Hatcher's Run he was severely wounded below the left knee and was confined to the hospital at Richmond.
