HEREFORD - Levi Joel Martinez, 10, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010.
Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Good News Church with his grandfathers, the Rev. David Alvarado, pastor of Good News Church and the Rev. Joe Martinez Sr., pastor of New Hope of the Nazarene Church officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E. Sixth St.
Levi was born Oct. 4, 2000, in Hereford to Cynthia Alvarado and Joe Martinez Jr. He loved to do many things in life such as roughhouse with his brothers, ride his bike, ride his motorbike, play the drums and watch his favorite TV show "Sponge Bob".
Survivors include his parents, Cynthia and Joe Martinez Jr.; two brothers, Timothy Ramirez and Zachary Lopez, both of Hereford; a sister, Claudia Martinez of Austin; grandparents, the Rev. David Alvarado and Elvira Alvarado and the Rev. Joe Martinez Sr. and Josie Martinez, all of Hereford; and his great-grandparents.
