Maricela "Mari" Martinez, 37, Hereford resident died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Hereford Regional Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, June 7, 2013, at Victory Family Worship Center, 606 15th Street, Hereford. with Pastors Lorenzo Martinez and Robert Kerby officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E 6th Street.

Maricela was born September 15, 1975 in San Benito, Texas, to Lorenzo Sanpedro and Silvia (De La Fuente ) Martinez. She worked as a librarian at the Deaf Smith County Library for 16 years. She loved to read and watch movies with her nephews. Maricela was a member of the Victory Family Worship Center and a 1993 Hereford High School graduate.

Survivors include her parents, Lorenzo and Silvia Martinez of Hereford, 3 brothers, Lorenzo Martinez, Jr. and wife Cynthia, Gilbert Martinez and wife Nancy all of Hereford, Carlos Martinez of Amarillo, grandmother, Vicky De LA Fuente of San Benito, TX and 3 nephews.

Family suggest memorials to Victory Family Worship Center, P.O. Box 505, Friona, Texas, 79035.
