Lilla Mayhew
Funeral services for Lilla Ruth Mayhew, 79, of Albuquerque, N.M., will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Doug Gossett, associated pastor of First United Methodist church.
Burial will be in West Park Cemetary [sic].
Mrs. Mayhew died Saturday in Anna Kasement Hospital in Albuquerque after a brief illness. Born June 23, 1897 at Telephone she went to Albuquerque in May of this year from Lovington, N.M.
She was a school teacher and member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Jim Childre of Oceanside, Calif.; and two sisters, Edith and Madge Childre, both of Albuquerque.
