McDougal Rites Conducted Here
Funeral services for Claude Cecil McDougal, 65, a rancher and retired Hereford High School teacher who died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in Deaf Smith County Hospital, were conducted at 4 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Clifford Trotter, pastor, officiated. Burial was in West Park Cemetery by Gililland Funeral Home.
Born Sept. 9, 1904, Mr. McDougal moved to Hereford in 1953 and retired as a school teacher here in 1961.
He was a native of Bowie and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise; a son, Dr. Clois McDougal of Belen, N.M.; a sister, Mrs, Mable Hinkson of St. Johns Ariz. and four grandchildren.
