Services for Jessica Rhea Spratlen Seals, 22, and her infant son, Christian Tyler Seals, of Copperas Cove will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Westview Baptist Church in Slaton with the Rev. Sean Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in East Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She and Christian died on Sunday, July 9, 2000, near Burnet.
She was born June 9, 1978, in Lubbock. She moved to Copperas Cove in 1998, from Burnet. She married Carl Seals in Copperas Cove. She attended schools in Cooper and Atkins Junior High School. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Layla Beth Seals and Samantha Rhea Seals, both of Copperas Cove; her father, Lonny Spratlen of Cedar Creek; stepmother, Melissa Spratlen of Cedar Creek; her mother, Carol Summerlin of Buffalo Springs Lake; two stepsisters, Margaret Goggin and Shara Goggin, both of Cedar Creek; and maternal grandmother, Eleanor Allison of Lubbock

Christian Tyler Seals was the infant son of Carl Clayton Seals and Jessica Rhea Spratlin. He and his mother both died on July 9 2000 near Burnet, Texas and are buried together.
