Thomas K. Eason, 81, of Tyler, Texas and formerly of Dallas, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Tyler. Funeral services will be 2 pm on Monday, January 25 at First Baptist Church of Mount Calm with Rev. Ron Horton and Rev. John Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in T.K. Cemetery.

Thomas was born in Fort Worth to the late Leo and Eva (Kirkland) Eason. He was raised in Houston but lived many years in Dallas before moving to Tyler. Mr. Eason was a businessman, engineer, and an U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by step-children, J.B. Yeager Jr. and Terry Yeager.

Survivors include his wife of over 30 years, Patricia Ray, of Tyler; sons, Russ Eason and Andrew Cappis, Larry Eason and wife, Jill, of Garland and Dennis Eason and wife, Toni, of Rowlett; step-children, Liz Belsher and husband, Kenny, of Diana, William Yeager, of Diana and Mike Lee, of Garland; grandchildren, Brenna Wiley, of Garland, Jasson Lee, of Cash, Amy Belsher, of Diana, Lindsey Belsher, of College Station, Brandon Lee, of Garland, Amanda Lee, of Garland and Seth Yeager, of Corsicana; and great-grandchildren, Tristen Lee, Corbin Lee, and Presley Wiley.
