Funeral services for Algy B. Thomas, 70, of 2106 Cumberland avenue, who did in a local hospital Sunday at 5:05 p.m. were held from Compton's chapel at 4 p.m. Monday, Rev. Tom B. Clark officiating, interment in Lone Oak Cemetery near Mart. Masonic Lodge of Mart had charge at the grave and furnished the pallbearers. Surviving are his widow; a son, Dr. H.P Thomas of San Antonio; two daughters, Miss Ruby Thomas of San Antonio and Miss Daphne Thomas of Austin; a brother, W.T. F. Thomas of Georgia. Mr. Thomas was born in Georgia and came to Texas when a young man. He resided in the Mart community for 40 years before coming to Waco about a year ago.
