Bobby Ray Willis, 79, of Axtell, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at his residence. Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Bland officiating. Burial will be at TK Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1, at the funeral home.
Bobby was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Marvin and Myrtle (Black) Willis. He married Wanda Ingram on Jan. 3, 1953. Bobby was an electrician at Waco Independent School District for 17 years and retired from Texas Power & Light after 13 years. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and the Bellmead Masonic Lodge #1329 where he just received his 50 year pen.
Bobby was preceded in death by a son, Larry Willis, on July 1, 2011.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Willis, of Axtell; son, Robby Willis and wife, Debora, of Hubbard; grandchildren, Clint Willis, Patrick Willis, and Tabitha Jones; great-grandchild, Rylee Hoover; nephew, Danny Willis, of Copperas Cove; and many cousins and friends.
