Frankie O'Rand, 77, longtime Hereford resident died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Amarillo.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Temple Baptist Church. Rev. Kyle Streun, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Hereford will officiate. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E 6th Street, Hereford.
Frankie was born December 12, 1935 in Amarillo, Texas, to Frank and Opal (Pinkley) Reams. She married Eddie O'Rand on January 23, 1954 in Amarillo. Frankie was a homemaker and an avid gardener.
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eddie O'Rand in 1984 and 1 brother, Carrol Reams in 2009.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Laurie Kahlich of Hereford and husband Chris, Melissa Lookingbill of Vega and husband Steve, 3 sons, Jeff O'Rand and wife Donnie, Rodney O'Rand and wife Kathy both of Hereford, Mike O'Rand of Carrollton and wife Celia, 1 brother, Bill Reams of Amarillo and wife Carol; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Commission for the Blind, 4800 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78756 or Olivia's Angels, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
