Le Roy Oswalt, 65, of Hereford died Monday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Mack McCarter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mr. Oswalt was born in Wheeler County. He was married to Laudene Ward in 1942 at Sayre, Okla. He moved to Hereford in 1966 from Ruidoso, N.M. He was past owner of E-Z Way Grocery Stores in Hereford. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry of Vernon; two daughters, Kim Bigham and Vickie Otiz, both of Hereford; his mother, Mrs. Bobby Lee Oswalt of Hereford; a sister, Mrs. Stacy Arnold of Shamrock; and eight grandchildren.
