HEREFORD - Kay Paslay, 74, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. in Kings Manor LaMar Room in Hereford with the Rev. Joe Shultz officiating. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
Miss Paslay was born April 3, 1936, in Oklahoma City to Glen and Rosetta Ratliff Paslay.
Kay enjoyed watching television, listening to music, and assisting in the kitchen. She was a people person who knew no strangers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sisters, Sue Daw and husband Les of Abilene and Judy Williams and husband Roger of Hereford; two nephews, Rick Weir and wife Sally of Dallas and Chris Williams of Houston; two nieces, Lisa McEntyre and husband Mike of Amarillo and Kim Hacker and husband Stefan of Grove, Okla.; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Kings Manor Methodist Home, 400 Ranger Drive, Hereford, TX 79045.
