*Obituary
Fred W. Patton, 54, Abuquerque [sic] druggist, died at his store - the Patton Drug Store, 2417 Isleta SW - Tuesday from complications of a long illness.

His wife heard him fall in the back room of the store and rushed to his aid, said Deputy Sheriff Mickey Espinosa.

Patton was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A member of the Elks Club, Patton is also survived by a brother, John, and four sisters, Mrs. Ida Ricketts , Mrs. Meline [sic] Newell, Mrs. Liela [sic] Trotti and Mrs. Estelle Todd.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Garcia Mortuary.
