Oak Lee May, 83, of Mart, retired railroad shop foreman, died Thursday at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel in Mart, the Rev. W.H. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Lone Oak Cemetery.
Mr. May was born Dec. 30, 1904 in McLennan County. He was married to Vera Gertrude Mims in 1924. He had also been an employee of McLennan County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mart and Masonic Lodge No. 636.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter Joan Wilson of Mart; a son Thomas Lee May of Lacy Lakeview; two sisters, Lucy Truly of Mabank and Eunice Miller of Lewisville; a brother Bill May of Waco; 10 grandchilden; and 22 great-grandchildren.
