Son of Florence Alphonse (F.A.) and Ester Frances Buxkemper Strube
Services for Roy Gene Strube, 60, of Odessa will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Chapel in Odessa with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating.
Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at West Englewood Cemetery in Slaton with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home of Odessa.
He died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001.
He was born Feb. 12, 1941, in Slaton. He graduated from Slaton High School in 1960. He married Martha Turk on Aug. 20, 1966. He moved from Abilene to Odessa in 1975. He worked in welding machine maintenance and was involved in Lubbock, Houston and Abilene Liquid Air Sales.
He was involved with Special Olympics and the Black Gold Chili Pod Club.
