Wife of Alton Wallace Sumrall
Mildred Francis Summall, 93, passed away February 23 2009. She was born in Stephenville on April 6, 1916 to Myrtle and Alfred Tudor.
She graduated from Sweetwater (Newman) High School in 1933. She married Alton Wallace Sumrall at her parents' home in Sweetwater on December 25, 1937.
Mrs. Sumrall was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Alton, who passed away October 15, 2008. She is survived by sisters, Lillian Nolan of Prescott, Ariz. and Doris Friedland of Larchmont, N.Y.; sons, Arthur Sumrall of Kissimmee, Fla., Stanley Sumrall and wife Donna of Webster, Mass., and Paul Sumrall and wife Pam of Slaton.
Her survivors also include seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. and Mrs. Sumrall at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Posey.
