Services for W. Ellis Riddle, 90, of 1006 Franklin, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor, officiating.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Bosqueville Cemetery in Waco. Local arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Riddle died Thursday in North Plains Hospital.
Mr. Riddle lived in Borger from 1933 to 1959, when he was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co., at the Alamo Refinery. He moved to Teague in 1959 after retirement, and returned to Borger in 1979.
He was a charter member of the Phillips Methodist Church, and was presently a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a member of Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include his wife, Minerva; one daughter, Mrs. Naomi Nuttall of Borger; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Groovers of Texarkana; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cuthbertson, Walter Love, John Haworth, J.D. McGregor, Burl Lloyd, and Aaron Tabor.
