Funeral services for E.L. (Pete) Harris, age 88 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Phillip Golden officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Harris was born in Jones, Louisiana August 7, 1933 to Robie (Cole) and Berry Harris. He married Ella (Blount) October 31, 1952 in Jones, Louisiana. He worked in the oilfield most of his life, and was always a good provider for his family. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
E.L. Harris passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home in Seminole, Texas. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Harris; one son, Terry Harris; five brothers; and one sister. He is survived by one son, Sergio De Luna and wife Brianda of Seminole, Texas; two brothers, Royce Harris and wife Lumaron of Seminole, Texas, and G.W. Harris and wife Mary of Louisiana; two sisters, Jewel Ruth, and Betty Middlebrooks, both of Louisiana; and six grandchildren.
