Ricardo E. Rincon, Sr., 59, lifetime Hereford resident, died Monday, February 25, 2013 in Amarillo.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Hereford Church of the Nazarene, 1410 La Plata Drive. Rev. Ted Taylor, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E 6th Street.
Ricardo was born July 12, 1953 in Lorenzo, Texas, to Santos Sr., and Catarina (Elizardo) Rincon. He married Eugenia Elizondo Rincon in August 1977 in Hereford. Ricardo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and the proud father of 3 sons, 2 daughters and 10 grandchildren. He was a Christian man who loved his Lord. Ricardo was a truck driver.
Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Jennie Rincon in April 2012, 1 brother, Johnny Rincon in May 2012 and 1 sister, Alicia Garcia in 2012.
Survivors include his wife Eugenia, 1 daughter, Jennifer and husband Martin of Denver City, TX, 3 sons, Ricardo Rincon, Jr. and wife Antonia of Hereford, Roy Rincon and Fabian Rincon, both of Amarillo, 4 brothers, David Rincon, Jr., and wife Rosalinda of Hereford, Emilio Rincon and wife Dora of Lubbock, Freddie Rincon and wife Linda of Wildorado, Santos Rincon, Jr., and wife Martha of Hereford, 8 sisters, Yolanda Casias and husband Gabriel of Hereford, Mary Sanchez and husband Manuel of Welch, TX, Diana Garcia and husband Raul of Rockwell, TX, Joann Morales of Hereford, Nicky Ramos and husband Oscar of Woodrow, TX, Sylvia Romero and husband Jessie of Borger, TX, Delia Vasquez and husband Lucio of Lyford, TX, Susan Nava and husband Antonio of Moses Lake, WA, 1 brother-in-law, Juan Garcia of Sinton, TX, 1 sister-in-law, Kathy Rincon of Amarillo and 10 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas, 79105.
