*Obituary Emory E. Rogers
E.E. Rogers, 76-year-old retired farmer, died last Saturday at his home in South Hereford. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church with Rev. W.M. Griffin, pastor, officiating.
Pallbearers were N.E. Gass, Edgar Mosley, George Mosley, Alva Wilson, Britt Boyd and Earl Lance. Burial was made in West Park Cemetery.
The Rogers family had lived here 26 years, and Mr. Rogers farmed and raised stock until recent years. Surviving are the widow and six children, three boys and three girls.
The children are Mrs. Charles Roberson of Hereford; Mrs. Roy Loyd, of Vega, and Mrs. L.E. Stead, Reading Kansas, Arthur and Roy Rogers of Hereford and Elmore Rogers of Chicago.
