Graveside service for C. A. "Adrian" Weir, 82, of Acuff will be 4 p.m., today, August 10, 2006 in Englewood Cemetery with C. L. Darter officiating.

Adrian passed from this life surrounded by his family Tuesday, August 8, 2006 in Lubbock.

He was born January 30, 1924 in Hunt County, Texas.

Adrian married Dorothy Pauline Rogers on February 7, 1948 in Acuff. He
was a farmer all his life, farming in the Acuff/Slaton and Lazbuddie areas.

He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII.

Adrian is survived by his wife, Dorothy; brothers, Howard Weir of Lubbock and Billy Weir of Muleshoe; and sisters, Edna Hoover and Betty Smith both of Slaton.
