RIO RANCHO, N.M. - Mary Blankenship, 93, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel of Hereford, Texas, with the Rev. Ken Ansell, pastor of Frio Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford.

Mrs. Blankenship was born Jan. 20, 1908, at Atoka County, Okla. She married Luther Scott in 1923 at Atoka County. She married Calvin Blankenship in 1948 at Hereford.

Survivors include two sons, Aubra Scott of Atoka and James Scott of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Juanita Manion of Hereford, Lena Grifford of Lake Whitney, Texas, Mildred Bradley of Apple Valley, Calif., Mary Elaine Fitzpatrick of Albuquerque; 47 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
