Husband of Dora Faye Willard
R.C. Willard, 57, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Covenant. He was born June 12, 1953, to the late Ella and Collie B. Willard Sr. in Littlefield, Texas. He attended Lubbock public schools and received his G.E.D.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dora Willard; children, Shatagia Johnson, Robert Charles Johnson, Rita Luellen and Felicia Cooper; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Moore, Sheral Reynolds, Mildred Willard, Patsy Traylor and Brenda Draper; five brothers, Donald Willard, Royal Willard, Carl Willard, Lenord Willard and Sammy Willard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, Texas, under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
