Carlos Talamantes Jr., 3-month-old son of Martha and Carlos Talamantes Sr. of Hereford, died Sunday, April 19, 2009.

Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Centro Cristiano Noevo Zion Church with the Rev. Javier Coronado officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Carlos was born Jan. 6, 2009, in Hereford, the son of Martha and Carlos Talamantes Sr. Carlos was a happy child who was always smiling and laughing. Carlos attended Centro Cristiano Noevo Zion Church with his parents.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to all of their friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Leobardo Talamantes, Anna Rodriguez, Refugio Delgado and Carlos Alarcon.

Survivors include his parents, Martha and Carlos Talamantes Sr.; a sister, Stephanie Michelle Talamantes of Hereford; his grandparents, Eduardo Talamantes and Maria Juana Alarcon of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Elias Gomez and Rebecca Rodriguez of Hereford; his maternal great-grandparents, Eliseo and Enedina Gomez and Elias and Magdalena Rodriguez, all of Hereford; and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.
