SEAGRAVES -- Funeral services for Baldomero Ochoa Jr, 69, of Seagraves were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Templo El Sendero Pathway To The Cross Church in Seagraves with Rev. Ovidio Martinez Jr. officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.
Baldomero passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Denver City.
He was born September 20, 1952 in Alice to Baldomero Garza and Bertha Mandel Ochoa. Baldomero married the love of his life Connie Cornett September 15, 1976 in Lovington, New Mexico. They lived a life full of love, and that love was shown when they had their four children. Jr. worked in the oilfield until an accident on a rig that injured him. With that injury he realized through his rehab he was able to fulfill the true calling on his life which was to become a Registered Nurse. He worked at Memorial Healthcare as an RN for 18 years where he later retired. He loved his job serving and caring for others. He was a nurse for 33 years. He loved his family and always put them first. Jr. was always making sure everyone was okay and had everything they needed. He was a great man, husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Cliffton Ochoa, and a granddaughter Destiny Longoria.
Baldomero is survived by his wife Connie Ochoa of Seagraves; daughter Stephanie Longoria and Danny of Seagraves; three sons Richard Ochoa and Victoria of Seagraves, Baldomero Ochoa and Brenda of Seagraves, Micah Ochoa of Seagraves; four sisters Martha Ramos, Janie Smith, Rosie Ochoa all of Seagraves, Anna Suniga of Dallas; two brothers Gilbert Ochoa and Jessie Ochoa both of Seagraves; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
