Funeral services for Flora Dawson, age 66 of Denver City, Texas will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at First Assembly of God with Pastor Kevin Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery-Seagraves. All services are under the direction of Boyer Memorial Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Ms. Dawson was born October 15, 1954 in Parkdale, Arkansas to Hazel (Morley) and Hulen Dawson. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Denver City and was very passionate about her faith; she was a Jesus-shouting, foot-stomping, hand-raising, Spirit-filled Christian who shared her faith with everyone she encountered. Many people were able to meet Jesus through her testimonies. Her legacy of fierce loyalty and unconditional love touched so many lives.

Flora Dawson passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her home in Denver City. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Dawson of Odessa, Texas, and James Dawson and wife Joy of Post, Texas; one sister, Altha Weir of Midland, Texas; and one very special friend and caregiver, Marcie Khalyleh of Denver City.
