Santos Jr. was born June 21st, 1961 to Santos Sr. and Erminia T. Hernandez in Levelland. He went to be with the Lord on October 13th, 2020. He married Maggie Barrera on February 16, 1991 in Levelland. He worked as an Oilfield Derek man and operator on a pulling unit for several years. He enjoyed barbequing outdoors for his family, and listening to a variety of music. He enjoyed family time, watching television, eating popcorn, pickles, and shining his ring. He also enjoyed doing woodwork. Some of his favorite projects were making crosses, and jewelry boxes. He was a pro Texas Longhorn fan.
He was preceded in death by his Mother; Erminia T. Hernandez, Son; Eugene Hernandez
He is survived by his spouse of 29 years; Maggie Barrera Hernandez of Seagraves, Sons; Santos III and Joshua of California, Nathan, and Paul, both of Lubbock, E. J. and Timothy, both of Seagraves, Daughters; Vanessa and Teresa of Seagraves, numerous Grandchildren, Sisters; Virginia Rodriguez, Lorrie Ruiz, Mary Alice Gutierrez, Teresa Pharis, Louisa Hernandez, and Crystal Hernandez all of Levelland, Brothers; Tommy Hernandez, Ricky Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, all three of Levelland, Rudy Caudillo and Paul Caudillo, both of Lockhart.
Visitation will be Friday, October 16th, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. @ Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel of Levelland.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 17th, at 10:00 a.m. @ Templo Sendero De La Cruz Assembly of God Church of Seagraves. Officiating the service will be Reverend Ovidio Martinez Jr., Music will be provided by Vanessa Barrera. Interment will follow the service at City of Seagraves Cemetery of Seagraves.
