SEAGRAVES - Services for former Seagraves resident Lenard Wallace Brasell, 43, of Albuquerque, N.M. have been set for 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church here with burial in Cemetery directed by Webb Funeral Home.
Brasell was killed Thursday in an automobile accident near Farmington, N.M.
A business agent for Albuquerque Local Pipefitters Union, he was a Breckenridge native and was married to Bernice Lewis July 24, 1948.
A World War II veteran and a graduate of Loop (sic Seagraves) High School here, Brasell and his family moved to Hobbs, N.M. nine years ago, then had lived in Albuquerque the past 18 months.
He is survived by his widow: two daughters, Mrs. Brenda Reese of Hobbs and Tonya Brasell of the home; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Brasell of Lubbock; four brothers, Billy Brasell of Farmington, N.M., Roland Brasell of Denver City, Wayne Brasell of Amarillo and Rex Brasell of Lubbock; three sisters, Mrs. Linda Hargrove, Mrs. Betty Marie Ingram and Mrs. Juanita Kinder, all of Lubbock.

Bernice (Lewis) Brasell (Lubbock, Texas), passed away on January 24, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her spouse Leland Brasell; and her daughter Brenda. She is survived by : her daughter Tonja Griffin (Bob) of Lubbock; her brother Larry Lewis of Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Tiffani Fagan (Billy) of Tulsa, OK, Trey Reese (Robin) of Haden, Idaho, Haley Reese of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dillon Griffin of Lubbock and Mason Griffin of Dallas.
