HEREFORD - Funeral services for Mrs. Leola Turner, 65, of Hereford, who died Wednesday morning while visiting a daughter in Odessa, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church.

The Rev. Gerald Mann, pastor, and the Rev. Clifford Trotter, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, were to officiate. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gillilland Funeral Home.

Born in Cook County, Mrs. Turner came to Hereford as a child.

Survivors include her husband, John E.; a son, Doyle of Hereford; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Meacham of Lubbock, Mrs. Gene Roberson of Amarillo and Mrs. Neal Crist of Odessa; six sisters, Mrs. J.B. Sowell of Hereford, Mrs. Alfred Walker of Panhandle, and Mrs. S.W. Sandope, Mrs. Garry Grant, Mrs. G.W. Wells and Mrs. Walter Tice, all of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother C.L. Goad of Sacramento; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
