Carlos Alvin Vaughn, 77, of 303 Ave. H., died Sunday, July 21, at 6:47 p.m. in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Christian Churdh. Rev. Gilbert Davis of Dallas will officiate. Interment will be at West Park Cemetery.

Vaughn was born April 26, 1908, in Hereford. He married Mabel Lyon in Melrose, Mass. She preceded him in death in 1968.

Vaughn was a retired carenter and U.S. postal employee. He was a veteran of World War II.

Vaughn is survived by one sister, Ruby Anthony of Elida, N.M.; 5 brothers, J.D. Vaughn of Bradenton, Fla., Bill Vaughn of Yosemite Lake Park, Calif., John Vaughn of Kernville, Calif., Mutt Vaughn of Fairfax, Va., and Frank Vaughn of Lakeview, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
