Services for Nita (Gerald) Dower of Andrews were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 1996 at Means Memorial United Methodist Church with David King of the Good News Fellowship officiating.
Burial followed in Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Dower died Thursday, Sept. 26, 1996 in Andrews. She was born Tuesday, August 14, 1951 in Andrews.
She married Wayne Dower November 17, 1977 in Andrews. He preceded her in death April 17, 1995. She was a retired salesperson.
Survivors include her parents, Charlie and Juanita (Price) Gerald of Andrews; a son, Chance Dower of Andrews; two step-sons, David Dower of Andrews, Ronnie Dower of Abilene; a step-daughter, Vikki Reeves of Wink; two brothers, Kerby Gerald of Andrews and Kelly Gerald of Dallas; a sister, Reba Stilwell of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; and a special brother and sister, David and Laura King of Andrews.
