Funeral services for Kennan "Kenny" Dove, age 67 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the M.S. Doss Chapel in Seminole with Pastor Gilbert Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Dove was born February 25, 1955 in Pecos, Texas to Dorothy (Elam) and Cecil Dove. He married Maria Grossi February 14, 1994 in Page, Arizona. Kenny's passion was rock and roll music and he was an accomplished musician. He loved rodeos, roping, farming and ranching. He was always available to help anyone. He graduated from Seminole High School in 1973 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from College of the Southwest with a bachelor's degree in science in 2002; he then became a substance abuse counselor. Kenny was a very devoted husband, father and G-Pop. He couldn't go one day without his McDonald's milkshake. He dearly loved his four-legged friend, "Paris."

Kenny Dove passed away at his residence in Seminole, Texas, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Valerie and three nephews, Guy Willman, Jimmy Willman, and Randy Watkins. He is survived by his wife, Maria Dove of Seminole; two sons, Kennan Girard Dove, Jr., and wife Anneretta of Page, Arizona, and Shane Holliday and wife Michelle of Mesa, Arizona; two daughters, Dorothy Renee Minor of Clovis, New Mexico, and Joy Lynn Conley and husband Ryan of Lamesa, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Dove and wife Janis of Seminole, Texas, and Gary Dove and wife Mary of Orange City, Florida; one sister, Lorraine Dove of Lakeway, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
