Funeral services for Lydia Valenzuela, age 71 of Seminole, Texas will be held Monday, April 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, with Father Hugh Thekkel officiating. Burial will follow in Gaines County Cemetery (south). All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole. The Rosary will be held at Boyer Funeral Home on Saturday evening, April 25, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Valenzuela passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Seminole following a lengthy illness. She was born March 21, 1938 in Presidio, Texas to Eliza (Danda) & Francisco Valenzuela. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Guadalupanas and DeColores.
Survivors include: 1 Son, Lupe Chapparo of Seminole, Texas; 1 Daughter, Janie Factor of Seminole, Texas; 3 Brothers, 1 Sister, 3 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren.
