Obituary:
FOLLETT - Jose Paz, 61, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010.
Vigil services will be at 8 p.m. today in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with Deacon Sergio Estrada officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mr. Paz was born Feb. 18, 1948, in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Lidia Nunez on Aug. 25, 1972, in Mexico.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Laura Rivera and Allyssa Paz, both of Perryton, Marissa Thomas of Waynoka, Okla., and Belen Paz of Follett; a son, Lorenzo Paz of Perryton; two brothers, Rogelio Paz and Richardo Paz, both of Mexico; four sisters, Gloria Natividad, Graciela Hernanez and Lidia Paz, all of Mexico, and Adela Reyes of Fort Stockton; and eight grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Jose Paz fund, First Bank Southwest, P.O. Box 929, Perryton, TX 79070.
