*Obituary Mary Lou Graves Alexander
Mary Alexander, 87, of Big Spring died Monday, March 2, 2015, at her residence. She will be in state Saturday and Sunday, March 7, 2015 and March 8, 2015 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

Mary was born October 13, 1927, in Ballinger, Texas to Joe & Lola Graves. She married T.E. Alexander on April 19, 1947, in San Angelo, Texas. Her and her late husband T.E. Alexander moved to Big Spring in 1953 from Stanton. They later moved to Marlin and returned to Big Spring in 1994. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1995. She worked at Woolworth in Big Spring, Marlin Nursing Home and was an inspector at Clothing Manufacturing Company also in Marlin. She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Joe Alexander and his wife Joyce of Chanute Kansas and Tommy Alexander of Big Spring; two daughters: Lynda Tribbett of Bridgeton, New Jersey, and Alva Alexander of Big Spring; two brothers: Rufus Graves of Eula and Willie Graves & his wife Pat of Snyder; fifteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son: Rodney Alexander; and one brother: Delbert Graves.
