Imogene Weaver Allen, 87, of Coahoma died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Rev. Elwin Collom, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born March 29, 1925, in Dublin, TX to Maggie and Jesse Howell.

She had been a resident of Howard County for over 75 years.

She married A. W. Weaver, Sr., August 1, 1944, in Coahoma. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1986.

She later married Curtis "Pete" Allen, October 24, 1989, in Midland.

She had been a bookkeeper for the Texas and Pacific Railroad, and later West Texas Sand and Gravel. For many years, she was the agent for the San Angelo Standard Times, The Abilene Reporter News, The Dallas Morning News, and The Big Spring Herald.

She is survived by her husband: Curtis "Pete" Allen of Coahoma; six daughters: Dorothy Billingsley and her husband B. D. of Logan, NM, Elaine Dehlinger and her husband Arthur of Big Spring; Karen Calvert of Okmulgee, OK, Susan Lyons of Coahoma, Cynthia Burton and her husband Ervin of Levelland, and Jennifer Allen of Louisville, KY; daughter-in-law: Carla Weaver of Breckenridge; sister-in-law: Ida Howell of Levelland; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by one son: A. W. "Buddy" Weaver, Jr.; one son-in-law: C. C. (Coleman) Calvert; one brother: Paul Howard; and one sister: Gwen Belcher.

Pallbearers will be Doug Howell, Domingo Rodriguez, Pete Dehlinger, Arthur Dehlinger, Ervin Burton, and Robert Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Darwin Billingsley, Bill Billingsley, Andy Weaver, Chris Calvert, Jesse Calvert, Justin Cook, Tad Cook, Aaron Weaver, and D. J. Cook.
