Frances Capps, 75, of Coahoma, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Lubbock Health Care Center.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2017 at Coahoma Cemetery with Eddy Pitchford, Minister of Coahoma Church of Christ, officiating.

Frances was born April 14, 1941 in Big Spring, Texas to Mary Ethlene Fuqua Allen and William Kirk Allen.

She has been a lifetime resident of Howard County.

She married Bobby Joe Capps on August 30, 1962 in Sand Springs. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2013.

She was a homemaker but had worked at GAMCO a number of years.

She was a member of Coahoma Church of Christ.

Frances is survived by two daughters: Jackie Cook and husband Bill and Mary Kemp and husband Adam, all of Coahoma; one son: Bobby Ray Capps of Big Spring; two grandchildren: Cory Cook and wife Melisa of Burleson and Brittany Roberts and husband Spencer of Big Spring; five great grandchildren: Halle Roberts, Riley Roberts and Macy Roberts, all of Big Spring and Collin Cook and Lillian Cook of Burleson; four brothers: Elton Weaver and wife Shirley of Big Spring, Eddie Allen and wife Tommie of Llano, Jerry Allen and wife Sandra of Livingston and Pete Allen of Coahoma.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Eulene Sims and Mary Lou Edens and two brothers: Weldon Weaver and A. W. Weaver.
