Lillie Mae Anderson, 77, of Big Spring, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Myers & Smith Chapel with Rev. Derek Looney, pastor of Spring Creek Fellowship, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Lillie was born November 24, 1935 to Eva and Ezra Owen in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She married Robert Dee Anderson on September 4, 1953 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Following their marriage, they relocated to Big Spring.

Lillie was very active in her children's and grandchildren's activities. She loved to fish, cook, entertain and "liked to give advice". She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, friend to all and a homemaker.

She was a Baptist.

She is survived by one daughter: Paul Cowley of Dumas; two sons: Andy Anderson of Sand Springs and Sammy and Le Jean Anderson of Big Spring; thirteen grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one brother: Monroe Owen of Atlanta, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson Justin David Anderson; a sister Linda Maner and a brother Marvin Owen.
