BIG SPRING — James Balios, 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, in a Midland hospital. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Myers & Smith Funeral Home Chapel with private burial in Trinity Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Balios of Big Spring; daughters, Mitzi Balios of Arlington and Molly Smith of Big Spring; son, Mark Balios of Big Spring; and brothers, Tony Balios and Johnny "Bill" Balios, both of Lubbock.

Our beloved mother, Meme, sister, and above all a friend, Sue Balios, 76, of Big Spring died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Friday at First United Methodist Church with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.

Sue was born June 19, 1936, in Abilene, TX to Audre and Delmer McLeod. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Acuff, TX. Sue married James Balios on June 29, 1954 in Lubbock. They moved to Big Spring in 1963 from Lubbock. James preceded her in death on November 12, 2002. Sue worked for Citizens Federal Credit Union for 23 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Sue is survived by two daughters: Mitzi Balios (and Rhonda Abbott) of Colleyville, and Molly Smith (and Maury) of Big Spring; one son: Mark Balios of Big Spring; one sister: Jimmie Lou Drake of Big Spring; one brother: Judge McLeod (and Linda) of Lubbock; four grandchildren: Jeremy Balios of Big Spring, Jordan Balios of Big Spring, Meagan Gicklhorn (and JRyan) of Lamesa, and Mallory Smith of Big Spring; and two great grandchildren: Jordan Ray Balios of Big Spring, and Tanner James Ryan Gicklhorn of Lamesa.

The family suggests memorials to The American Cancer Society, % Carolyn Brooks, P. O. Box 2121, Big Spring, TX 79721, or Relay for Life, attn.: Sandy Griffin, 1217 E. 17th Street, Big Spring, TX 79720.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy James Balios, Jordan Dean Balios, Cheyenne Arguello, Manny Negron, JRyan Gicklhorn, and Brandon Faulkner.
