Jesus Javier "Jesse" Mier, Jr., 22, of Fort Worth, formerly of Big Spring died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital following an automobile accident Friday. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at the Chapel of the Salvation Army with Captain Russ Keeney and Captain Linda Keeney officiating. Burial will be in Coahoma Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
He was born June 3, 1981 in Big Spring and grew up in Big Spring. He had lived in Fort Worth for the past five years. He was a forklift operator for Marco Specialty Display in Fort Worth. He was of the Christian Faith.
He is survived by his mother: Maria De La Cruz of Big Spring; father: Jesse Mier, Sr. of Big Spring; four brothers: Joshua Mier, Boy Mier, Randy Mier, and Homie Mier all of Big Spring; four sisters: Andrea De La Cruz, Samantha Alvarez, Eva Alvarez, and Shyann Mier, all of Big Spring; fiancee: Rebekah Quiroz of Fort Worth; two nieces: Kaelan Woellert and Christena Myrick; one nephew: Christopher Myrick; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Arrangements are by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
