Jackie Ray Rinard, 87 of Big Spring died in Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

Visitation will be 9 AM until 9 PM with family receiving friends from 2 PM until 4 PM Sunday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 PM Monday at Midway Baptist Church with burial at Coahoma Cemetery.

Jackie was born on November 14, 1934 in Dundee, TX to Arch Edward and Velma Rinard.

He has been in the Howard County since 1961 and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Jackie loved to watch high school football and go to the playoff games.

He loved to hunt and fish, basically anything to do with the great outdoors.

Jackie is survived by 2 sons: Jackie Ray Rinard, Jr. (Michelle) & Jimmy Roy Rinard (Tasha); 1 daughter: Brenda Sue Burks (Guinn); 8 grandkids, 12 great grandkids; 1 sister: Marilyn Rinard (Robert) and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents and wife Linda "Charlene" Rinard.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Lindsey, Dustin Rinard, Cody McCutcheon, Justin Burks, Austin Rinard, & Cliff Snell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb Stanley & Ian Park.

Linda "Charlene" Rinard, 72, of Big Spring died Thursday August 8, 2013 at her residence. Visitation will be Sunday 3:00PM to 4:00PM at Myers & Smith Chapel. Services will be Monday at 2:00PM at Midway Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.

Charlene was born October 23, 1940 to Ira Lee and Forest Clinton Chambers in Seymour, Texas. She married Jackie Rinard December 6, 1958 in Olney, Texas. She was a resident of Howard County since 1961. She owned Al's Bar-B-Que in Big Spring for several years. She also worked for Chaney's Jewelry and Dunlaps. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Jackie Rinard Sr. of Big Spring; one daughter Brenda Burks and husband Guinn of Crane; two sons Ray Rinard and wife Michelle of Midland, Jim Rinard and wife Tasha of Big Spring; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Charles Clinton Chambers.
