*Obituary Diana Sue Gunter Self
Diana Sue (Gunter) Self, age 75 of Coahoma, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Funeral services will be 10:00am, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, September 27, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
She was born February 19, 1946 in Ryan, Oklahoma to parents Willie Sherill Gunter and Irene (Barnett) Gunter.

Diana worked as a bus driver for the Coahoma School District for 38 years, as well as the Cafeteria and Snack Bar for 29 years. Throughout that time she drove around and took care of hundreds of kids. She enjoyed cooking, no one ever left her house hungry. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending quality time with them.
Survivors include her three kids: Robert Self, Jr., Randal Self, Brandi Johnson and husband Zach; grandson, Cooper Johnson; brother, Rick Gunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Self “Snuffy”; sister, LaDonna Griffith.
